Buying a house in Asheville, NC?
After living one too many years in the South Florida town of Delray Beach, my brother John and his partner Vinnie decided to make the brave decision to get a better life. Google told them one of the best cities to move to was Asheville, North Carolina. A quick 2 hour flight from Palm Beach, several weekend of research and a decision was made. The house was put on the market and notices were given!
The house hunt started. In October my sister LuAnn and I accompanied them and got a look at what the city had to offer. Coming from the housing market in Los Angeles it was really depressing. But it was comforting to know that places still exist where you can get a gorgeous house with land for under $500k. For well under by the way. And not be living in butthole!
