Liya Kebede is an absolutely gorgeous Ethiopian super model who is also a World Health Organization Goodwill Ambassador. Nice, huh?
Having 2 children of her own, ages 5 and 8, she designed a line of clothing called LemLem (which means “to bloom” in Ethiopian), is made in Ethiopia and sold amongst other places in J Crew. Not bad!

The clothing is really expensive but at least we know in this case the profits are going to a good cause!

Just a teaser to more shots to come! Last Friday the 18th we did our babystyle Fall photo shoot and here is a sampler of beyond adorable Kayla who was quite the star of our shoot!
How cute is this little one and such a nice mom too!!! Hair and make up extroidinaire Brandy Snow and I pinned, pulled, cajoled, comforted – I mean anything anything to get the shot, or what seemed like the 9 million shots we did that day. Of course we couldn’t have done it without wrangler Mark and uber photographer Rick Szczechowski. And thanks to super agent Paloma for all the gorgeous kids! More to come soon!

We are gearing up to do the babystyle Fall photo shoot. Our new President Emelia has just bought a fabulous house in Hancock Park in Los Angeles. A gorgeous neighborhood lined with big old houses with amazing landscaping. She have very generously said we can use her house for the shoot. There’s lots to like about the house, make that love, but this is my favorite room and talk about cozy…….I sure miss having a bathtub!!!!

THE ULTIMATE LADYBUG AND LION!

It was a Halloween-orama with lots of tiny kids posing as ladybugs, lions and peacocks! Plus Mac and Cheese for the adults! Where was the badly needed Vodka???? And will we ever find the answer to the question: how can 2 days be so dang exhausting?

The minute Ivy came in on her go-see I fell in love with her immediately and knew that she was destined to model for Ralph Lauren. I mean, common, look at that face! And sure enough, last week both she and another little babystyle model Myles booked and shot together! Here Ivy is in the fabulously capable hands of Brandy, a hair and make up artist who is everything and more you could want: so cool, so talented, so modern, and perfect with babies and adults!!!! Ivy is one of those little girls who practically skips into the studio all smiles and is just such a sweetheart! Nice mom too which is a real bonus! Babystyle will be seeing a lot of Ivy (and Ralph Lauren probably too!). What a little star!
