Cozy Autumn Dinner: Girls only!

by Leslie Patson | 27th November 2008

What started out to be a book club meeting ended up just being a cozy Autumn dinner for 7 girls. The addition of a few non-book clubbers whose attendance we simply could not resist put literature aside for the time being – there were Plenty of other topics to discuss!!!

The evening started with Pomegranate Martinis - Russian Vodka courtesy of Valerie, brought back from Moscow on one of their trips out to see Milana!

Lots of beautiful hostess gifts, thanks ladies, you shouldn’t have (but glad you did!!!!)

The menu:
Warm Arugula Salad with garlic croutons
Carbonnades Flamandes (Beef stewed in Beer)
Saute of fennel, brussels sprouts and shallots
Warm chocolate pudding with whipped cream

Party Crashers! Who said they could come????

Just in case you were wondering girls, of the few pictures I took quite a few were blurry. Yes, I blame this on the red wine. But then, I blame most things on the red wine. Or the white.

Val, we missed you and therefore will have to do it again, I’m game!!!
