(Cozy) Castoro Winery
While driving home from our Hwy 1 trip we had to swing by Paso Robles and do a little wine tasting. We had time to visit one tasting room and hadn’t done any research go so i guess it was just plain lucky that we ended up at Castoro! The guy pouring (John) looked a little like Bill Murry and he told us there was no charge for tasting (never heard that before!) and we could try as much as we wanted! For me, that meant I would have been drunk toute suite and since we were about to begin the drive home i had to stop after taste #6. Funny thing was I really liked almost all of what I tried which again hardly ever happens and we left with a bottle of a grape I never drink – Zinfandel which was really delicious!
