Cozy Cat of the Week: X rated!!!!
well well well, this seems to redefine Cozy!!!!!!! call it what you like, these kitties sure seem to get along well!!! Our cozy couple comes courtesey of my dear friend Shelly and here is the scoop!
“The black cat in the picture is named Ivy and she is about a year old. She was a wild child as a kitten but the arrival of the new kittens mellowed her out for some reason. The recipient of her “attention” is named Sage and she was rescued along with her crazy sister named Gracie. when they were itty bitty. My sister (Patti) originally only rescued one of them but when she brought her home, she told her husband about the cute little gray runt that was left behind and he insisted that she go back for her as well. Their oldest cat Annie (see picture) was rescued by her husband (Shawn) from the nearby woods. That’s her favorite position – waiting to be let outside, still a wild child at heart. They believe that she is a “maine coon.” So now they are crawling with critters, not to mention Shawn’s two ginormous dogs named Pixie and Tinkerbell. Obviusly the girls named them, not my macho brother-in law…”
Thanks Shelly, this has opened up new doors for Cozy Cats….but we love the story of these 2 and LOVE people who rescue kitties and any type of critters!!!!
