Dill-lightful!

by Leslie Patson | 19th July 2008

Its so funny when you “suddenly” discover something new in food thats actually been around forever. That’s how I feel about the herb Dill! I remember eating it a lot in Greece, particularly this one lunch where the the owner of the restaurant, a young blonde woman from Croatia, not only cooked the food but served it too (what a work ethic!). Amongst other things we ordered, these amazing vegetables which were basically boiled potatoes, zucchini, carrots and cauliflower seasoned simply with lemon juice, olive oil, salt, pepper and of the final touch – dill. You know what they say about Mediterannean cooking, the simplest things are often the most delicious!
