East Coast Cozy: Annapolis, The Eastern Shore!

by Leslie Patson | 12th August 2007

I recently returned from a wonderful super girl weekend in Annapolis, Maryland. I travelled with my very good friend Elizabeth back to the town of her alma mata, St. John’s College. By super girl weekend I mean that it was just the perfect place for 2 girls to wander around, exploring antique shops, touring gardens and houses and doing a little shopping. You know, all that kind of fantastic girly girl stuff! Annapolis was absolutely beautiful in August and although we arrived in a downpour of rain, and continued to search for a restaurant that night in the rain, the rest of our trip was beautiful and sunny. Cobblestone streets, historic brick buildings and built on the Chesapeake River, I think what impressed me the most of Annapolis were all the beautiful flowers that lined the streets either in big pots or in window boxes. This has let me to really become addicted to container gardening! – lets hope I am more successful with that that I was with my poor tomato garden! Listed below some of my favorite moments:
