What an unbelievable day!!! FINALLY! I was thrilled beyond belief to see Barack Obama sworn in as our 44th president! My emotions were running way high as I watched the proceedings. I thought his speech was unbelievable and loved loved loved watching he and Michelle dance at 10 different balls, wow!

Yes, this kitty comes all the way to us from Ecuador.

What the hell you ask?

Well, good friends Ryan and Elizabeth just returned from a great vacation to Ecuador with the story of how they met this amazingly cute kitty who followed them on a 3 mile hike (it just fell in love with them!) and even slept under the covers in their hacienda room one night!

The kitty apparently belongs to the cook but Elizabeth sure is having thoughts of some international catnapping! Look how cute it is!!!! Parker would definitely approve!!!

I love the Spring vibe of the new JCrew campaign. The colors are so soft, clear and inspiring! I love pastels but not when they look too cotton candy. Here they look sophisticated and beautiful.

These sandals will most likely end up in my closet!

And this pleated tank in soft pink is also calling my name…

With the current temperatures in the 80′s in Los Angeles, my winter clothes never had a chance (boo hoo because I love sweaters and coats!!!)

Thanks to Robyn and Greer for sending these super cute pics of Stella and Finn! These kitties are really gorgeous! All I can say Robyn is thank God you finally saw the light and got cats! You must admit, they are hugely entertaining!!!!

Here’s what Robyn and Greer have to say about this dynamic duo!:

Stella (above) and Finn (see below) are 8 and 9 months young. Not related, however, we like to think of them as “partners.” Strangely, Finn is often mistaken for male and everyone refers to her as him (including us) and we’ve embraced her gender issues. Both are American Shorthairs that are known for being more like dogs than cats. What attracted us to them was Finn’s immediate desire to come over, say hi, and hang for awhile and the fact that Stella is (was) an only child and seemed a little lost. (Plus her mushed in face). Since then both have become accustomed to their obvious life of leisure. They do enjoy a rousing game of hide and seek often where Stella hangs out in a basket in the den and occasionally peeks her little head up to see if Finn is around and Finn-once she figures it out-goes pouncing into the basket which then starts a thundering run about the house, up the stairs, across the furniture and usually ends up with both asleep. Life’s tough.

Yes, I agree: cats and dinner dishes not the best combo!!! Hard to explain to guests (unless they are die hard cat people and even then…)
